Moro Kaiser Balanced Suction Boom

The suction boom is the first component that comes into contact with the sludge material and is the most complex part of the vacuum system and the air flow path from the suction mouth to the tank. The boom consists of a centre-plate, a pneumatic controlled throttle valve, and a 5” rubber hose. The lifting movement is made possible by pneumatic cylinders, while the rotation movement is manual and includes a pneumatic stop brake. The arm is counter-balanced on the rear side to make parking and self-levelling movements very easy. It features a lever control panel mounted on the galvanised suction end pipe, with controls for boom open/close valve, boom lift, parking brake, and vacuum pump inversion. All controls are pneumatic (no electric cables). It is equipped with a vacuum meter and a terminal suction pipe in hot galvanised steel.
