Intermediate power take-off (PTO) designed for combined sewer cleaning vehicles, allowing the operation of pumps and compressors by drawing power from the vehicle's transmission shaft.
The PFT – PC4/3000 is an intermediate power take-off (PTO) primarily equipped on combined vehicles for draining sewers and washing conduits. This PTO allows the operation of the equipment by drawing power from the vehicle's transmission shaft. The PFT PC4/3000 can be equipped with one or two clutches in an oil bath, allowing the functioning of one or more duties (pumps, air pumps, compressors, etc.) without acting on the engine’s clutch to stop the shaft rotation. Main transmission engagement/disengagement is done via a double-effect pneumatic cylinder (6 – 8 bar) with a security system. The oil bath plate-type clutch exits are pneumatically controlled (min. 7 - 8 bar) by a rotating joint, even when the transmission shaft is not completely still. Technical data: - Maximum continuous torque (Main Drive): 21,000 Nm - Maximum instantaneous torque (Main Drive): 30,000 Nm - Maximum speed (Main Drive): 2,500 - 3,300 rpm - Maximum output speed (Side PTO): 2,500 rpm - Direction of rotation (Side PTO): Opposite of engine - Transmission control: Pneumatic cylinder (6 – 8 bar) - Duties control: Pneumatic (7 - 8 bar)
